Trezor Users Can Connect to Uniswap, Aave, Opensea via Trezor Suite

This integration strengthens that balance between usability and security — keeping users in control while expanding what they can do from Trezor Suite

This feature allows Trezor users to interact directly with various decentralized applications (dApps) from the Trezor Suite interface. It maintains security by requiring all transaction confirmations to be physically verified on their Trezor device, ensuring private keys never leave the hardware wallet.

The Walletconnect integration provides access to popular dApps across multiple blockchains. Users can now employ services like Uniswap for swapping tokens, Aave for lending, and Opensea for non-fungible token (NFT) trades without compromising self-custody.

“This integration strengthens that balance between usability and security — keeping users in control while expanding what they can do from Trezor Suite,” Matej Zak, CEO at Trezor explained in a release sent to Bitcoin.com News. The move aims to let users explore evolving Web3 applications safely.

Trezor detailed that key benefits include multi-chain support for networks like Ethereum and Solana. It works with existing Trezor devices and requires no additional wallets or new backups, offering a seamless experience. Walletconnect is now available in the latest version of Trezor Suite, the team explained to our newsdesk.
