The Electric Coin Company (ECC), which is behind the development of the anonymous Zcash cryptocurrency (ZEC), has announced the release of the Zashi mobile crypto wallet for iOS and Android. Pre-order of the app is already available for iPhone users in the App Store marketplace. When you register it, the Zashi wallet will automatically download to your device after it is released in the App Store.
The iOS app is expected to be released at the end of this month, and the Android wallet will appear in about 30 days. Zashi is designed exclusively for ZEC, it allows you to send, receive and store an asset while maintaining the confidentiality of transactions and message history.
Version 1.0 includes support for unified addresses, a secure Orchard pool, as well as the function of spending money before synchronization (Spend Before Sync). This feature is necessary in case the user has an existing wallet that he has not used for a while, and he needs to spend his old funds without waiting for the wallet to synchronize.
