The Tron Network is preparing for the GreatVoyage v4.7.4 update
The Tron Core Devs developer community has announced that the Tron GreatVoyage-v4.7.4 blockchain update, dubbed Bias, will be rolled out in March.
The update includes network improvements that should increase stability and optimize performance, simplify protocol development.
"With the launch of GreatVoyage-v4.7.4 (Bias), enthusiasts and stakeholders in the Tron community will be able to count on a more reliable and efficient network infrastructure, reduced complexity and improved user experience," the announcement says.
The update of the Bias will support the gRPCurl tool call, and the Gradle dependencies in the modules will be reorganized in such a way as to get rid of redundancy, ensuring a clearer dependency and reducing the complexity of developing the main Tron protocol. It is promised that improving dependency administration will reduce costs and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the community.
New functions for checking the numbers of loose blocks and adding columns of the code version to HelloMessage will improve the stability of network consensus, as well as optimize network performance, the speed of calculation and withdrawal of remuneration for votes, the developers believe.
