The Montenegrin authorities have extradited the top manager of Terraform Labs, Han Chang Jun
The Ministry of Justice of Montenegro has decided to extradite the former product director of Terraform Labs, handing him over to the authorities of the Republic of Korea.
Han Jang Joon has already been extradited on the basis of an Interpol warrant, the Ministry of Justice said. The ex-top manager of the company that collapsed at the end of spring 2022 was handed over to South Korean police officers. The detainee is awaiting criminal proceedings under several articles of the Criminal Code of the republic related to financial fraud.
Han Zhang Joon and Do Kwon, the former chief executive officer of Terraform Labs, were detained last spring at Podgorica airport. Do Kwon is awaiting extradition to the United States or South Korea.
Earlier, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) agreed to postpone the start of the trial of Terraform Labs until the Montenegrin authorities extradite the founder of the project to the American authorities.
