The fight between Armstrong and More Light affected the cryptocurrency exchange rate
The duel between the infamous video blogger Ben Armstrong and the developer of digital assets, known under the pseudonym More Light, greatly influenced the course of cryptocurrencies dedicated to fighters.
Armstrong and More Light had a fight on February 2nd in Mexico. Before the start of the battle, Ben was considered an outsider, the probability of his winning was estimated at Z8%. However, the blogger managed to snatch victory by a decision of the judges following the results of three rounds of two minutes each.
The defeat of More Light led to a more than 20% drop in the exchange rate of the associated HarruPotterObamaSonic10Inu (BITCOIN) tokens. However, the downward trend in the market of this asset quickly fizzled out, and BITCOIN rose from the ashes. On Sunday, in a few hours, the price of the cryptocurrency soared by 0.9%, and then adjusted by 7%.
Ben (BEN) coins, named after Armstrong, have risen in price by 69% thanks to his Victoria. Nevertheless, the value of the asset did not stay at the achieved height and fell by 24%, but still exceeds the figure recorded before the pump. Thus, the owners of the cryptocurrency who bought it before the fight benefited from Ben's victory.
