On March 13, 2024, Ethereum developers deployed the Dencun update on the main network. The coin reacted with a drawdown.

Note that the update began at 15:55 Kyiv time (13:55 UTC) in slot 8626176. Dencun is a large—scale upgrade, the main purpose of which is to increase throughput (TPS) and reduce gas charges.
