The Arbitrum community has proposed creating a memcoin fund
A member of the Arbitrum community has put forward a new management proposal. The initiative provides for the formation of an investment fund with a budget of $3 million.
The Arbitrum community has put forward a proposal to create a fund aimed at supporting projects in the memcoin sector. Its author believes that in this way it is possible to attract liquidity and new users to the ecosystem.
"There is no reason why Arbitrum should not at least try to stimulate the memcoin sector. Someone may have the idea that Arbitrum is "imposing" these tokens, but any other blockchain does the same," the author of the proposal says in a note.
The essence of the initiative is to launch a fund with an initial budget of $3 million. The funds will be used to support and finance individual projects in the memcoin sector.
The following requirements are put forward for the latter: the volume of liquidity is at least $200,000, capitalization is $1 million or more, and the percentage of large hodlers is low.
The author noted that it took him about an hour to compose the proposal. He invited the members of the community to fix any possible "holes", after which the initiative will be put to a vote. Note that most commentators supported the idea.
