The analyst suspected Arrington Capital of organizing a sybil scheme around ether.fi
Nansen experts pointed to the "interesting activity" of Arrington Capital addresses against the background of airdrop ether.fi . The company is one of the investors of the project.
Arrington Capital may have organized a sybil scheme before the token distribution ether.fi . This opinion was expressed by ZachXBT, referring to the conclusions of Nansen experts.
According to the platform, Arrington Capital has issued 5,000 eETH (liquid ether token.fi), and then distributed them to 10 wallets. From each address, the company branded ether.fi (ETHFI).
In total, the firm received 200,498 ETHFI — about $800,000 at the time of writing. Nansen experts said that these funds were consolidated and transferred to the Binance exchange.
A crypto expert under the pseudonym ZachXBT commented on the situation. He wondered why the news was not made public, since the actions of Arrington Capital, if confirmed, are a market fraud.
The company is listed among the main investors of the project ether.fi .
The developers commented on the situation, noting that Arrington Capital did not actually receive any benefit from the alleged "scheme". In ether.they also indicated that they knew in advance about the availability of several wallets. The tokens branded by Arrington Capital are a small proportion of the assets contributed by the firm, the organization added.
