The American Kalshi prediction market has started accepting bets on Bitcoin and Ethereum
The Kalshi prediction market has started accepting bets on cryptocurrencies. Users of the platform can already predict the prices of bitcoin and Ethereum.
The Kalshi American forecast market, which is regulated by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, has started accepting bets on cryptocurrencies.
As of March 18, 2024, users of the platform can make a forecast for when bitcoin will reach the $100,000 mark and what the price of the first cryptocurrency will be by the end of 2024.
Note that 86% of forecasters believe that bitcoin will trade above $75,000 by the end of the year. 18% voted that the asset will cross the $150,000 mark by this time.
Users can also place a bet on the price of Ethereum at the end of 2024. 42% voted for the asset to trade at levels above $6,000. In addition, short-term forecasts can be made on the platform.
Recall that despite the fact that the bets are related to the prices of cryptocurrencies, the Kalshi platform accepts only US dollars.
