Taurus, a company providing services for storing and trading cryptocurrencies, has announced cooperation with the Lido Finance protocol. This partnership opens up access to liquid banking for Swiss banks.
According to the statement, the collaboration with Lido Finance is a response to the growing demand for digital assets from institutional investors. Now Swiss banks regulated by the Financial Markets Supervision Authority (FINMA) will receive new opportunities for development, according to the company.
Taurus representatives note that at this stage, staking services are available only to financial institutions from the mentioned country. However, the custodian's team hopes that the authorities of other European countries will follow the example of Switzerland in terms of the development of the crypto industry.
Taurus is a partner of financial institutions such as Deutsche Bank and Santander. The company's representatives expect that in the near future these banks will also be able to take advantage of the staking offer.
