Sky Mavis co-founder was hit by a $9.7 million hacker attack
The wallets of the Sky Mavis co-founder have been compromised. About 3248 ETH were stolen from them.
The co—founder of Sky Mavis, a game development company, Jeffrey Cirlin, suffered from a hacker attack. 3248 ETH worth about $9.7 million was stolen from his cryptocurrency wallets. This was reported by PeckShield specialists.
Experts said that the funds were stolen from the Ronin bridge, and subsequently transferred to the Tornado Cash cryptomixer.
Information about the hacking was confirmed by Cirlin himself. He stated:
"It was a difficult morning for me. Two of my addresses have been compromised. The attack is limited to my personal accounts and has nothing to do with validators or operations on the Ronin network. Besides, the hack has nothing to do with Sky Mavis."
