Since such transactions are considered questionable, the bank restricts the use of the card and sends a request to clarify the source of funds.

You can confirm your income using a screenshot of your personal account on the crypto exchange website or other services, which allows you to uniquely identify the owner. It is also necessary to provide the address of the website where the purchase and sale of cryptocurrency was carried out, the user name and transaction history.

The representative of Sberbank urged customers not to ignore the bank's requests, "in order to be able to use all services without restrictions."

Recall that since 2018, cryptocurrencies have been recognized as a high-risk factor for the financial space of the Russian Federation.

In a letter dated September 2021, the Bank of Russia classified transactions with crypto exchanges as questionable and recommended that banks conduct their careful monitoring. In case of suspicion of money laundering, credit institutions are advised to block the client's transactions and even terminate the contract.
