PostFinance has launched retail cryptocurrency services

The PostFinance administration informs that starting from Wednesday, February 21, transactions with digital assets will be available to all 2.5 million customers of Swiss post offices. The initial list includes 11 cryptocurrencies, and the minimum amount of private investment is limited to $50.

In addition to trading digital assets, PostFinance will offer clients the placement of cryptocurrencies on depository and savings accounts. The bank's customers will be able to access cryptocurrency offers around the clock and seven days a week through an online account or the PostFinance application.

"With PostFinance's entry into the digital asset market, we are meeting the needs of our customers, namely the need for a reliable provider for trading and protecting cryptocurrencies," PostFinance said.

It is noted that the launch of retail cryptocurrency services became possible after the conclusion of a partnership agreement between PostFinance and cryptobank Sygnum in April last year.
