The Omni network has entered into an agreement with the restaking protocol Ether.Fi . It is known that as part of the partnership, the latter will allocate $600 million to Ethereum to increase the security level of Omni.

In addition, the statement says that Omni and Ether.Fi has committed to using the EigenLayer security model.

"Omni will add the eETH token to Ether.Fi and will select node operators to launch its Actively Validated Service (AVS). Ethereum in staking will act as a guarantee that protects against security breaches and asset depreciation," CoinDesk said in a statement.

Note, at the time of writing, the total value of blocked funds (TVL) in Ether.Fi is about $1.9 billion. Since the beginning of 2024, this figure has increased almost 16 times.
