The OKX cryptocurrency exchange has announced the termination of its activities in India. This is reported by Cointelegraph with a link to an email received by local users of the platform.
The statement says that "in accordance with local legislation" by April 30, 2024, users must "close all margin positions, as well as positions on perpetual contracts, futures and options."
In addition, customers were urged to stop using Earn, Loan, Jumpstart products and withdraw funds from the platform.
The team noted that after April 30th, accounts will be limited, but the withdrawal feature will be available. The message also says that the assets will remain safe and will be available on the account until users withdraw them.
