Miner Bitdeer has developed its first chip for mining crypts
Singapore-based mining company Bitdeer Technologies has successfully tested its highly efficient Bitcoin (BTC) mining chip
On March 4, on the Bitdeer page in X (ex. "Twitter") there was a message that the company has developed the first chip for mining cryptocurrencies — SEAL01. According to the announcement, it will be used in the new Sealminer A1 installation.
According to the developers, SEAL01 was created using advanced 4-nanometer technology from the world's leading semiconductor manufacturer. During the tests, the chip achieved an energy efficiency coefficient of 18.1 J/TON.
SEAL01 could become one of the most efficient bitcoin mining chips on the market. Thus, the energy efficiency indicator of AntMiner S19 Pro chips from the Bitmain miner is less than 30 J/TON.
The developers added that SEAL01 will optimize the efficiency, stability and performance of mining capacities in preparation for halving. The event is scheduled for the end of April.
