Law enforcement officers seized LockBit ransomware sites
The darknet sites of the LockBit hacker group have come under the control of the UK's National Crime Agency. This is reported by Bleeping Computer.
Law enforcement officials confirmed to the media the seizure of resources as part of the ongoing operation Cronos with the participation of the FBI, Europol and colleagues from 11 countries. They promised to provide details later.

A representative of the group under the nickname LockBitSupp claims that the FBI hacked them using a PHP vulnerability. Presumably, we are talking about the operation of CVE-2023-3824.

In addition to the leak site, the police disabled the LockBit "partner" panel. According to the report, law enforcement officers have access to "source code, data on victims, amounts of ransoms requested, stolen data, chats and much more."
At the same time, several other LockBit darknet resources, including sites for posting data and sending personal messages, are still functioning.
The LockBit grouping appeared in 2019 and is considered one of the most active. Among her victims are the tire manufacturer Continental, the Boeing Corporation, the Subway fast-food restaurant chain, Bank of America, the Italian tax service and others.
