Lamborghini, with the participation of the VeVe platform, will launch its own NFT collection
Italian luxury sports car manufacturer Automobili Lamborghini, in partnership with the VeVe platform, is going to release a new collection of non-interchangeable tokens on February 18.
Automobili Lamborghini announced its cooperation with VeVe last year. NFTs are tokenized sports cars of the Lamborghini brand.
In January 2022, the automaker began collaborating with Swiss artist Fabian Oefner, as well as with the NFT Pro service. Together with one of the oldest Sotheby's promotional houses, the Italian concern launched its first collection, NFT Space Time Memory. These non-interchangeable tokens have become popular among sports car enthusiasts.
Since 2019, Lamborghini has been using the Salesforce platform based on the Hyperledger blockchain to verify data on used cars. In July 2022, Lamborghini, with the participation of its subsidiary Vincenzo Sospiri Racing, signed one partnership agreement with the GO2 NFT platform to implement a certification program for racing car parts.
Later, the automaker entered into an agreement with NFT PRO and INVNT.ATOM to launch The Epic Road Trip collectible tokens. Buyers were invited to arrange car races in the metaverse. The project was closed after eight months.
