According to the case file, in 2023, the defendant registered ENERGY EOLUS QAZAQSTAN LLP in order to attract investments in renewable energy sources allegedly located in the United States.
Also, with the help of foreign hackers, a platform was created "energyeolus.info " for the visibility of the movement of funds, the agency noted.
According to the court's decision, a cryptocurrency in the amount of 408,000 USDT (equivalent to 187 million tenge) was confiscated to the state's income.
The organizer was sentenced to six years in prison with confiscation of property, and deprivation of the right to engage in brokerage activities for a period of five years.
