Immutable developers have opened early access to the mainert based on zkEVM
Immutable Web3 game studio, in collaboration with Polygon Labs, launched the main zkEVM network to scale Ethereum for selected ecosystem partners.
The following projects will be among the first to test the new solution: Guild of Guardians, Metalcore, Hardbound, Treeverse, Cool Cats, BAD MAD Robots, Space Nation, Eyeball Games and Imaginary Ones, according to The Block.
zkEVM uses zero-knowledge proof technology (ZK-Rollups), performing off-chain calculations at the second level to reduce the cost and speed up transactions. Network-based Apps work separately from the existing Starex-based L2 blockchain.
Immutable and Polygon started creating a gamer-oriented platform in March 2023. MATIC is used as the governance token.
