Recall that Satoshi Nakamoto's last public message was dated December 12, 2010. However, after that, the developer, or a group of such, still corresponded with some colleagues.
The last email from him was received on April 23, 2011. In it, he delegated the work on the blockchain to the team, noting that he was doing "other things."
The emails submitted to the court cover the period from August 2008 to January 2009. In them, Nakamoto turned to Beck for help with a quote in one of his works. He, in turn, recommended that he familiarize himself with the Micromint and B-Money projects.
The latter was developed by engineer Wei Dai. He is also one of the authors of the Crypto++ library.
Dai is one of the most famous cryptographers. He, like programmer Hal Finney, is considered a likely candidate for the role of Satoshi Nakamoto.
