CleanSpark mining company will double the hashrate to halving Bitcoin
The management of the CleanSpark mining company plans to double the hashrate of its equipment by spring so that the company is ready for the next bitcoin halving, which will take place at the end of April.
CleanSpark has announced the purchase of three new mining farms located in Mississippi. The transaction value amounted to $19.8 million, while the new equipment will increase the company's hashrate by 2.4 Eh/s. In addition, CleanSpark bought a farm in the city of Dalton for $6.9 million, which will produce 0.8 Eh/s. The farm is still under construction, which should be completed in April.
CleanSpark also continues to expand capacity at its existing farms in Sandersville. Thus, the total hashrate will be increased from the current 10 Eh/s to 20 Eh/s during the first half of 2024.
