Charles Hoskinson: I gave money to overthrow a cryptosceptic senator

Charles Hoskinson reported that he donated $3,300 to John Deaton's political campaign. Hoskinson urged participants in the crypto industry to follow his example and support the candidate for senator.

"I just donated the maximum amount allowed to John Deaton so that he could fight Elizabeth Warren for the Senate post. The United States needs people who are ready to challenge banks and legislators who write laws and destroy the crypto industry," Hoskinson explained.

The campaign of incumbent Senator Elizabeth Warren is supported by quite wealthy sponsors: the campaign fund has already raised about $15.5 million. Warren has been a senator from Massachusetts since January 3, 2013 and is known for her extremely negative attitude towards cryptocurrencies.

Deaton's campaign headquarters has raised $500,000 so far. Nevertheless, Warren sees the candidate as a serious fighter, as the lawyer has enlisted the support of participants in the crypto industry. Last year, John Deaton was awarded as a defender of cryptocurrency companies.
