CEO Rozetkapay (Ukraine) appreciated the need to introduce crypto payments by Ukrainian companies

CEO of the payment service RozetkaPay Alexander Lapko supported the idea of ​​introducing crypto-payments by Ukrainian crypto-companies and legalizing this sector. He stated this in an interview for Speka.

According to Lapko, cryptoassets, as a payment method, can be successfully integrated into the existing e-commerce infrastructure. However, for this to happen, the sector needs to have a regulatory framework in place, he added.

 “Right now it’s a gray area. It is quite difficult for large players to use this payment method. They will immediately find themselves in the spotlight, which will raise questions about how they do this in the absence of legalization of the sector,” Lapko emphasized.

He also stated that the service was considering the possibility of integrating crypto payments. However, they turned out to be more expensive compared to bank cards, and this, according to Lapko, is another limiting factor.

At the same time, he highly appreciated the prospects of the sector:

 “I think there is significant potential for us to use crypto payments.”
