From March 7, 2024, the Bybit trading platform will gradually increase the commission rates for trading perpetual and futures contracts. This is stated in the official press release of the platform.

The increase in fees will affect users from certain regions who do not have Pro status. Thus, fees for trading perpetual and futures contracts will rise from 0.0200% to 0.0360%. Taker's commissions will increase from 0.0550% to 0.1000%.

At the same time, taker's commissions for VIP clients with VIP4 status and above will be reduced on the contrary. You can see all the changes in the screenshot below:

The list of countries where trade fees will increase or decrease includes Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Ukraine, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, the Republic of Moldova, Belarus and Georgia.

The representatives recalled that the user's region is determined by the document that was provided during the "know your customer" (KYC) verification process. If different documents were used for different levels, the client's place of residence will be determined based on the highest level of verification received in descending order, the press release says.

It is reported that all changes will be fully implemented by March 11, 2024.
