BitMEX: During the week, investors invested $2.2 billion in Bitcoin ETFs

From February 12 to 16, exchange-traded funds for bitcoin attracted $2.2 billion in investments from shareholders. This is more than the inflow into any other ETFs in the American market.

BitMEX: During the week, investors invested $2.2 billion in Bitcoin ETFs

The leader, according to analysts of the BitMEX exchange, remains the spot ETF for bitcoin of the largest management company BlackRock. During the week, $1.6 billion was invested in this fund. The researchers note: since the beginning of the year, shareholders have invested $5.2 billion in the IBIT fund. This is about half of all funds raised by the company, and there are more than 400 ETFs on its list.

Other companies also reported on a successful week ― the Filelity FBTC fund raised $648.5 million in a week. The ARKB ETF of 21Shares is $405 million, and the shareholders invested $232.1 million in the BITB fund of Bitwise.

The results would have been even higher if it hadn't been for the continued outflow of funds from Grayscale's GBTC fund. Converted into an ETF from a private fund, GBTC has less attractive conditions, so investors continue to transfer money to other instruments. During the week, $624 million was withdrawn from the fund. Since the conversion, GBTC's capitalization has decreased by $7 billion.
