Bitget Wallet announced the launch of the BWB ecosystem token and the airdrop

On March 18, 2024, the Bitget Wallet crypto wallet announced the launch of the BWB ecosystem token and the activity points program.

As the representatives of the platform informed Encrypted, this event is a significant stage in the effort to increase user engagement and contribute to the development of a dynamic community ecosystem.

According to the announcement, the total number of BWB tokens is 1 billion, of which 5% will be allocated for airdrops for the community. Users of the crypto wallet will receive points that can be exchanged for coins in the future. Such a strategic move is aimed at encouraging community activity, the press release says.

To attract a wide range of users, Bitget Wallet has initiated a six-week airdrop campaign, which will take place from March 18 to April 28. According to the team's statement, the initiative consists of two levels.

As part of the activity, Bitget Wallet will analyze and reward current users based on their past wallet activity. The allocation of points will take into account the volume of stored assets, the history of exchange transactions and participation in previous promotions.

In addition, community members who have used the exchange function in other Web3 wallets, including MetaMask, Trust Wallet and Coinbase Wallet, will be able to claim additional rewards.

As part of the promotion, all Bitget Wallet users have the opportunity to earn BWB points by completing certain tasks. These include storing assets in a wallet, conducting exchange transactions and inviting friends. A different number of points is offered for each task, which gives a chance to regularly increase the balance, Bitget Wallet noted.

Note that Bitget Wallet is part of the Bitget Group ecosystem. It is expected that in the future, the BWB token will become not only the main token of the crypto wallet, but also a fundamental asset and a Web3 capital certificate in the decentralized Bitget ecosystem, the team said in a statement.
