Binance will suspend the input and output of USDC on the TRON network
Binance has announced new rules for processing deposits and withdrawal requests to the USDC. The exchange has suspended support for such transactions on the TRON network.
The Binance crypto exchange has announced the suspension of USDC input and output on the TRON network. As an explanation, the platform referred to Circle's decision.
According to the official statement, the new rules will come into force on April 5 from 02:00 UTC. Binance stressed that they will not affect transfers to the USDC in any way on other networks.
Users will still be able to withdraw their funds or exchange them for other crypto assets. After the specified period, deposits to the USDC made via the TRON network will not be credited.
Circle has announced that it will suspend the release of USDC in this ecosystem at the end of February 2024. The company has not explained its decision in any way.
Some other exchanges have also imposed restrictions on the entry and withdrawal of USDC into TRON. In particular, the Kraken platform still allows you to deposit stablecoins through this network, but not withdraw them.
