Binance to Pay Up to $5 Million for Insider Trading Information
Yi Xe, co-founder of the Binance cryptocurrency exchange, announced the launch of a program to reward people who provided information about insider trading cases.
Xe stated that Binance will pay from $10,000 to $5 million for information about traders who trade digital assets using confidential data, for example, about the upcoming listing of virtual currency on the platform.
Yi promises to keep the names of the informants secret and pay them a bonus in the form of a bonus for detecting a security vulnerability, apparently for conspiracy purposes.
Exchange employees caught in insider trading will be fired and face employment problems, because Binance will blacklist all startups where violators work. To avoid possible problems, the company encourages all interested firms to contact Binance before hiring former specialists of the organization.
