Binance payment partner has been registered in the UK
The British division of Banxa has completed registration with the FCA. The company provides the payment infrastructure to Binance and some other crypto exchanges.
The provider of payment solutions Banxa, a partner of the Binance exchange, has been registered with the Financial Supervision Authority of the United Kingdom (FCA).
According to the data on the regulator's website, the company's application was approved on February 9, 2024. In the new status, the company can fully legally promote crypto services in the UK market.
Banxa's Managing Director for the UK, Brinda Paul, noted the high requirements of the regulator for applicants. According to her, in 2023, only four firms were registered with the FCA.
"I am proud that I have nevertheless led the company to this success, especially given the extremely low level of approval of the agency," she stressed.
Banxa provides fiat gateways for major crypto exchanges, including Binance. The parties signed a partnership agreement in 2020.
