Binance and Coinbase data access put up for sale on the darknet

An attacker under the nickname Tamagami claims to have gained access to an account on the Kodex Global platform, which allows you to send requests on behalf of law enforcement officers to obtain data from various bitcoin exchanges and social networks. Hudson Rock experts drew attention to this.

A full account on Kodex Global is for sale for $5,000, individual emergency data requests from a specific platform cost $300.

According to Hudson Rock, the hacker gained access to the system through hacked computers of unidentified law enforcement officers.

Earlier, another attacker also tried to sell credentials from the Binance portal on Kodex Global.

Although the amount of data provided remains unclear, emails, phone numbers, wallet IDs and user transactions are potentially at risk of disclosure.
