Avalanche developers have introduced the Teleporter tool for networking subnets

Avalanche developers have successfully applied the Durango update, one of the main innovations of which was the support of the Teleport tool, which facilitates the interaction of projects on different subnets.

Avalanche developers have introduced the Teleporter tool for networking subnets

Teleporter's goal was to unify the work of specialized networks for applications (subnets), which will facilitate the interaction of projects on different subnets and solve the problems of ecosystem fragmentation. The tool is based on the Avalanche Warp Messaging (AWM) protocol, launched on the basis of an EVM-compatible network (C-Chain). Therefore, Teleporter will work on subnets compatible with EVM.

"By activating Durango on the Avalanche main network, subnets will be able to communicate directly with the C-Chain via AWM. Teleporter embodies this functionality in an EVM-compatible interface that developers can use to launch contract calls on any Avalanche subnet using the Solidity language," said Patrick O'Grady, Vice president of platform Development at Ava Labs.

The subnet system in Avalanche was introduced in 2022. It allows you to create individual blockchains for different verticals. Teleporter will allow the exchange of various data and assets between these subnets. Developers will be able to transfer tokens, NFT, data from price oracles, and so on.
