One of the users reported that Aleo mistakenly sent someone else's documents for the "Know your Customer" (KYC) procedure to his email. They included photos and personal information.
In the comments to the publication, several other people confirmed that they had also received a letter with confidential information about other people.
Note that the Aleo platform is focused on privacy. It allows developers to create decentralized applications (dApps) that ensure privacy when interacting on the network. The project positions itself as a first-level open source blockchain that guarantees data protection.
