A federal jury in Salt Lake City found Oluwole Adegboruwa and Enrique Isong, foreign nationals, guilty of multiple drug-related charges. Between 2016 and 2019, they generated over $8 million in cryptocurrency, including bitcoin and ethereum. Adegboruwa operated under the names “King Odua” and “Alagbada726,” converting cryptocurrencies to traditional currency. Sentencing is scheduled for August. The jury also ordered Adegboruwa to forfeit $380,396 in cash, a 2017 Dodge Charger, and 26 money orders totaling $9,400, as well as over $15 million in cryptocurrency.
