Unibot token dropped by 45% after disconnecting from Solana
On March 11, the native coin of the Telegram bot Unibot (UNIBOT) fell by 45% amid the termination of cooperation with the team that connected the application to the Solana network.
"The decision is driven by security considerations, which prompted us to switch to our own development and operation of Unibot on Solana using our secure server infrastructure," the announcement says.
According to Unibot representatives, a group of Solana developers "abused trust" when they launched a bot called "evm_unibot" without prior permission. Members of the unnamed team also refused to undergo KYC verification in order to continue cooperation.
Unibot added that their trading bot associated with the Solana ecosystem will soon appear on the Telegram and Unisol-X platforms.
